1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Gruplana, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What Gruplana is

Gruplana is a tool for planning group trips with friends: building a shared itinerary, proposing and voting on plans, discussing details in comments, and tracking shared expenses.

3. Accounts

You need a valid email address to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Your content

You own the content you add to Gruplana — trip details, comments, and everything else. By adding it, you give the other people on that trip permission to see it, and you give us permission to store and display it back to you and them as part of running the app. Don't post anything illegal, abusive, or that you don't have the right to share.

5. Expense tracking is not a payment service

The expense-splitting feature is for tracking and calculation only — Gruplana does not move, hold, or transmit money in any form. Settling up with the people on your trip happens entirely outside the app, by whatever method you choose. We're not responsible for verifying, collecting, or enforcing any payment between users.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Gruplana to harass anyone, to misrepresent who you are, to interfere with the service, or to try to access another person's account or trip without permission. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate this.

7. Third-party services

Sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. Their own terms and privacy policy govern how they handle your credentials during sign-in.

8. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your account and the data tied to it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. "As is", no warranty

Gruplana is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate — for example, expense calculations are provided for convenience and you're responsible for verifying amounts before settling up.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gruplana and its creators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including disputes between users over trip plans or expenses.

11. Changes

We may update these terms or the app itself from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll do our best to let you know. Continuing to use Gruplana after a change means you accept the updated terms.
